Kettering Industrial Ecology Team (KIET)

Welcome to! This web site is the home of the Kettering Industrial Ecology Team (KIET).  KIET is a multi-disciplinary group of faculty members that have developed and offered a new course called IME540 -Environmentally Conscious Design and Manufacturing.

The KIET faculty received a very special award at Kettering's University Conference on September 26, 2007.  The president and provost awarded the six KIET teaching faculty the "TRW/CETL Educational Scholar Award" is given "in recognition for excellence in pedagogical and educational scholarship" .  The six teaching faculty receiving the award are Ben Redekop, Jennifer Aurandt, Andy Borchers, Jackie El-Sayed, Craig Hoff, and Terri Lynch-Caris.  The award was given to the six interdisciplinary faculty for efforts in developing and delivering IME540 Environmentally Conscious Design & Manufacturing.
